Who is behind LeadtoClose?

WebSMB is an integrator of Web Services and Business Solutions for the Small/Medium Business market.

Management Team

Geoff Scales, CEO/President
Owner and President Geoff Scales conceived of L2C in an effort to bring successful technological innovation to the real estate market, by seeing a void to be filled with a niche and innovative application. Mr. Scales knew he saw an opportunity to leverage his existing skills in developing technology related businesses, so he put his experience and resources to work in developing this business concept.

Mr. Scales has worked as a consultant with Associated Venture Capital in Montreal where he identified new business models for the new economy, and matched start-ups with financing, recruitment and other resources. Having served at an Executive level in the corporate world in Marketing and Senior Management, he has participated in the development of a number of start-up companies, and he excels at keeping ahead of the curve when it comes to business, technology, and the Internet. He has studied for a Masters in International Business, a Bachelors degree in Political Science, as well as his Certified International Trade Practitioner Designation. Beyond developing new businesses, his skills surround product development, brand management, and Internet marketing.

Kent Harrison, Chief Operating Officer, VP Product Development
Kent has over 20 years of software development and technical project management experience. His most recent position was that of Operations Director for an Internet solutions based consulting firm where he helped companies solve their business communications and application integration problems. Kent is currently leading the L2C development team in looking for value-added services to leverage the marketing and promotions targeting at real estate brokers and agents.

Keith Kaplan, Director of Marketing
Keith Kaplan is an accomplished Internet Marketing Executive with extensive experience in development and product launch of B2B (and some B2C) web-based applications. For organizations including Reuters, Multex and Comtex, Keith has been responsible for complete lifecycle management of applications serving the financial, media and webmaster sectors and instrumental in the successful rollout of a multitude of successful Internet applications and websites.
Notable users of these B2B applications include professionals from companies such as Merrill Lynch, CSFB, American Express, Dow Jones, Reuters, eSignal, Lexis Nexis and many others. A graduate of Stanford University, Keith has an MBA in Marketing from New York University’s School of Business and spent a Semester at Oxford University in the UK.

Maureen Kerr, Director of Business Development
Maureen was originally hired as a consultant to work with the president, Mr. Scales, to develop this Business Plan and is currently working on hiring and outsourcing. Her experience stems from being a business owner for the past eight years and most recently consulting. Her former business was ranked, at one point, third in Atlantic Canada for fast growth companies by a regional business magazine; as well she was awarded Young Entrepreneur of the Year for the province in 2003.
